The Microscope

What is a microscope?
The microscope is an optical instrument that transmits a magnified image of an object observed through a lens system. The widest range of microscopes can be found in the Spy Shop online store at the most attractive prices and offers!
Who invented the microscope?
The first electron microscope was built in 1931 by German engineers Ernst Ruska and Max Knoll. It was based on the ideas and discoveries of the French physicist Louis de Broglie. Although primitive and unsuitable for practical uses, the instrument was capable of magnifying objects four hundred times.

Uses The clearest thing we can say is that the microscope is used to observe various objects, organisms, etc. Its most common uses are those who are passionate about stamps, coins, discovering new things; in education, in subjects such as botany, biology, chemistry, zoology; in medicine, in sectors such as pathology, microbiology, entomology, hematology, dentistry, dermatology, but also in veterinary medicine, in carrying out ordinary analyzes or in advanced research. They are used from medical schools to hospital laboratories. They are also used in industry, to inspect various components and electronic assemblies of diversified materials, such as textiles, metals, plastic; in agriculture, for engravings, by jewelers and archaeologists, in science, in fields such as geology, archaeology, public health, oceanography, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, public safety for water quality analysis, various military applications, etc.
Types of digital microscopes
Over time, the need for knowledge pushed the manufacturing of the microscope in different directions. Thus, the range of microscopes is very large, and the main types are: microscope with artificial light, with polarized light, fluorescent microscope, with phase contrast, interference contrast microscope, with cathode light, laser confocal microscope, contrast microscope and reflection, immersion, roentgen microscope, electron microscope, neutron microscope, ultra-short wave microscope, atomic force microscope.
What is a microscope made of? Mainly, the microscope is built from the following elements: objective (consisting of several lenses), eyepiece (convergent optical system), lighting system (natural or artificial) and recording system (for digital images). Also, most microscopes come with a set of slides and slides for easier observation of objects of interest
The magnification of the microscope is characterized by a quantity called magnification (G).

α1 = the angle under which the object is seen directly with the naked eye
α2 = the angle under which the object is seen through the microscope

The power of the microscope (P) is given by the relation:

d = distance between the foci of the objective and the eyepiece
fobjective = focal length of the objective
focal length = focal distance of the eyepiece
P = Pobjective ∙ Pocular
